About
About
FLBoatingHub is an independent resource for recreational boaters in Florida — a single place to find a boat ramp, check the tide, plan a trip, and gear up.
The site was created by Eric Chez, a boater based in Riverview, Florida, out of a simple frustration: the information Florida boaters need is scattered across dozens of agency websites, PDFs, and outdated forums. FLBoatingHub pulls the reliable public data — the FWC's statewide boat ramp inventory and NOAA's tide predictions — into one clean, fast, mobile-friendly guide, then adds the local context that raw data leaves out.
What we do
- Boat ramps: detailed pages for public launches across all 67 Florida counties, with maps, amenities, and the nearest tide station.
- Tides: seven-day NOAA tide charts for key stations on both coasts.
- City guides: boater's overviews of Florida's top coastal towns.
- Gear & regulations: honest buying guides and a plain-English rules summary.
Our data
Ramp data comes from the FWC Florida Boat Ramp Inventory. Tide predictions come from NOAA Tides & Currents. We cite our sources on every page. Conditions change, so always verify locally — and never use this site for navigation.
